🎃 Halloween Fun Show at Green Hill Park Equestrian Center 🎃

Get ready for a day of spooky equestrian fun! The Halloween Fun Show, co-sponsored by the Roanoke Valley Pony Club and sanctioned by the Blue Ridge Horse Force (BRHF), is taking place on Sunday, October 25, 2026.

• Time: Gates open at 8:00 AM | Show starts at 10:00 AM

• Location: Green Hill Park Equestrian Center

• Entry Fee: $10.00 per class

Costumes are strongly encouraged in all classes (just make sure they don’t block vision or cause a disruption)! Featured events include Leadline, Youth, and Adult Costume classes with trophies and $25 cash prizes, fun games like the Pumpkin Race, Creepy Race, and Spooky Ribbon class, plus speed events like Cloverleaf Barrels and Pole Bending.

📌 Rules & Important Notes

• Coggins Requirement: The Virginia Department of Agriculture requires proof of a current negative Coggins (within 12 months) for all horses on the grounds—no exceptions.

• Safety & Gear: Helmets are required for youth games. Protective equipment is always allowed and will not be penalized.

• Pets: Dogs must remain on a leash at all times per Roanoke County Parks & Rec regulations.

• Membership: You do not need to be a BRHF member to participate in any class.
